🔬 Research Chemical Shipping Requirements

• Hazmat compliance: Shipments follow applicable ADR/IATA/IMDG rules and local DG regulations.
• Specialized packaging: Certified primary containers, secondary containment, cushioning/absorbents where required.
• Documentation: SDS/MSDS access, hazard markings, and transport docs provided as applicable.
• Facility delivery: Delivery only to qualified research facilities (institutional address).
• Age & role verification: Recipient must be 18+ and authorized by the institution.

🌍 Shipping Locations & Restrictions

We support international shipments to qualified institutions, subject to product- and country-specific restrictions. Availability may vary by item and jurisdiction.

📋 Regional/Legal Restrictions

• Local import/export licensing and controlled-substance rules may apply.
• Institutional verification (university, licensed lab) is mandatory.
• Customs and border documentation for research chemicals is required; HS codes/hazard classes vary by product.

We provide guidance on import documentation where feasible. Final compliance rests with the receiving institution.

🚚 Specialized Carriers

Shipments are arranged with carriers qualified for dangerous goods (e.g., DHL/UPS/FedEx with DG capability) or regional specialized chemical couriers, depending on route and product classification.

⏱ Processing Time

• Verification: 1–2 business days for institutional credential checks.
• Preparation: 2–3 business days for compliant packing and documentation.
• Total processing: typically 3–5 business days (export docs may add time).

Weekends/public holidays excluded.

• EU: ~3–7 business days (incl. customs where applicable)
• UK: ~5–7 business days
• US/Canada: ~5–14 business days (route & clearance dependent)
• Other regions: ~10–21 business days

💸 Shipping Costs

• Quoted on the pro-forma invoice based on destination, weight, hazard class, and carrier.
• Expedited options may be available for eligible items/routes.
• Large or multi-hazard consignments receive a tailored quotation.

🔁 Tracking & Delivery

• Status emails: verification → packing → dispatch.
• Tracking number: provided upon shipment.
• Delivery: business-hours delivery to institutional address; authorized signature required.

💳 Payment Methods (Institutional)

• Bank transfer (wire): per pro-forma invoice.
• Purchase Orders: accepted from accredited universities/institutions (subject to approval).

No consumer card checkout. Additional verification may be required before dispatch.

❗ Lost, Damaged, or Regulatory Holds

In transit

• Damage/shortage on delivery: note on the carrier’s POD and notify us within 48 hours with photos/lot details.
• Loss: we will initiate a carrier investigation; outcomes (refund/replacement) depend on investigation and insurance terms for the shipment.

Customs & regulatory

• We supply required export/transport documents. The importer (institution) is responsible for local permits/licenses.
• Seizure due to importer non-compliance: no refund/replacement.
• Our documentation error: we will correct and assist; if irrecoverable, we will reasonably remedy (refund/re-ship) at our discretion.

🛡️ Safety & Handling

• Access to current SDS/MSDS and handling/storage guidance.
• Use by qualified personnel with appropriate PPE and SOPs.
• Dispose according to institutional and legal requirements.

🔄 Returns (RMA required)

Due to the nature of research chemicals, returns are restricted and require prior authorization.

Return Conditions

• RMA within 14 days of delivery (contact a.zhylenko.fop@gmail.com).
• Unopened, original sealed packaging with intact labels/lot info.
• Stored/handled per specifications; photos may be required before authorization.

Non-Returnable

• Opened/used items; custom syntheses; expired/retest-date elapsed; contaminated or temperature-abused goods; items unsafe to reship.

Return Process

1. Request RMA with order/lot details and reason for return.
2. Receive instructions (hazmat carrier/labels/packaging).
3. Ship via the specified hazmat carrier at buyer’s cost (unless agreed otherwise).
4. Inspection by qualified personnel at logistics center.
5. Refund/credit (if approved) within 5–10 business days post-inspection.
