Research Chemical Returns Policy Overview
Research use only: Research chemicals for institutional laboratory use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

RMA required: Do not ship returns without prior approval and an issued RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Contact a.zhylenko.fop@gmail.com to obtain an RMA and packaging/shipping instructions.
Return window: Returns are accepted within 14 calendar days from delivery only for problematic items (defective, damaged in transit, or not meeting the specified purity/grade).
Eligibility: Products must remain unused, unopened, and in the original sealed packaging with all documentation (SDS/MSDS, labels, lot/COA where applicable) and be stored/returned under compliant conditions.
Several types of research chemicals are exempt from return due to safety and regulatory constraints:
- Opened or unsealed research chemical containers
- Products exposed to contamination, temperature abuse, or improper storage
- Custom synthesized or made-to-order compounds
- Products past labeled expiration or retest date
- Items that cannot be safely reshipped under applicable transport regulations
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software
- Digital certificates of analysis (COA) or analytical datasets
To complete your return, we require proof of purchase and verification of institutional/research credentials. We may request photos of seals, labels, and packaging before authorizing an RMA.
Do not send returns to the manufacturer. All returns must be coordinated using the logistics address below and the carrier specified in your RMA.
Partial refunds: may be granted at our discretion where applicable, e.g. items not in original condition or missing parts, returns after the 14-day window (if exceptionally accepted), or items requiring special disposal due to improper handling.
Refunds
Once your return is received at the logistics center and inspected by qualified personnel, you will be notified by email about approval or rejection. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method or, upon request, as institutional credit (for institutional orders) within 5–10 business days after approval. Processing times of banks and payment providers may vary.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account, then contact your payment provider. Posting times vary. If you still need help, contact a.zhylenko.fop@gmail.com.
Sale items
Only regularly priced research chemicals may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in the RMA.
Replacements
For approved cases (defective, damaged in transit, or not meeting specified purity/grade), we will ship a replacement according to your RMA. We do not offer exchanges.
Return Shipping & Packaging
Use only the carrier and packaging specified in your RMA. Non-compliant returns may be rejected or require regulated disposal at the sender’s expense.

Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility and are non-refundable, except in cases of our error or damage in transit. If a refund is approved, any deductions will be stated in your credit note.
Institutional Orders
For institutional orders shipped directly to a laboratory, approved refunds can be issued to the original payment method or, upon request, as institutional credit to the ordering entity.
