Research Chemical Returns Policy Overview

Our refund and returns policy for research chemicals lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your research chemical must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original sealed packaging with all safety documentation.

Several types of research chemicals are exempt from being returned due to safety regulations:

Opened or unsealed research chemical containers
Products exposed to contamination or improper storage
Custom synthesized compounds
Products past expiration dates
Research chemicals that cannot be safely reshipped

Additional non-returnable items:

Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Digital certificates of analysis

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and verification of your research credentials.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All research chemical returns must be coordinated through our hazmat-certified shipping process.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Research chemicals with obvious signs of use or contamination
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Products requiring special disposal due to improper handling

Refunds

Once your research chemical return is received and inspected by our qualified personnel, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-10 business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced research chemicals may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded due to special pricing agreements.

Exchanges

We only replace research chemicals if they are defective, damaged in shipping, or do not meet specified purity standards. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at puritylabsup@gmail.com and we will provide hazmat shipping instructions.

Ship returns to: Purity Lab LTD, Čajkovského 2, 949 11 Nitra, Slovakia (using approved hazmat carrier only).

Institutional Orders

If the research chemicals were ordered by an institution and shipped directly to your laboratory, you’ll receive an institutional credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and inspected, a credit certificate will be issued to the ordering institution.

If the item wasn’t marked as an institutional order, we will send a refund to the original purchaser.

Shipping returns

To return your research chemical, you must use a hazmat-certified carrier. Contact us first at puritylabsup@gmail.com for proper shipping instructions and documentation.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning research chemicals. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Research chemical returns require trackable shipping service with hazmat certification. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item if proper shipping procedures are not followed.

Important: Never attempt to return research chemicals without prior approval and proper hazmat packaging. This may violate shipping regulations and safety protocols.
